Susan L. Hauske

Susan List Hauske focuses her practice on civil defense litigation, insurance coverage disputes, premises liability, construction defects and trial work. She also represents employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters, along with corporations in product liability and construction-related cases. Susan started her career with the firm as a law clerk and has been with the firm since 1997, working her way through an Associate, to a Director, and now acting as President of the firm.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Delaware, graduating cum laude from the Honors Program, and went on to receive her law degree from Villanova University School of Law. She was admitted to practice in Delaware in 1998 and is also admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Delaware and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Susan is a member of the American and Delaware Bar Associations, Defense Counsel of Delaware, and the Delaware Claims Association. She was also an inaugural member of the Randy J. Holland Delaware Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court and has spoken at a number of seminars on civil litigation and workers’ compensation.

Outside of work, Susan stays busy volunteering as a USA Swimming official and supporting youth athletics. She also runs the parent booster organization for her children’s club swim team.
